FOOD CHALLENGE: 100% Un-Processed Foods
So, Zeena and I have decided to commit to a non-processed foods regiment for 1 week. We all know how bad processed foods are for us, but it always seems so difficult to actual implement a 100% processed-foods free diet, especially when nearly everything is processed now-a-days.
But there are so many benefits to eliminating processed foods from you diet, such as:
- Healthier weight
- Reduced bloating
- More energy
- Improved digestion
- Healthier/better functioning body
- Could even help to improve chronic ailments
- Say goodbye to empty calories & hello to better nutrients (ie: vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients)
Essentially, Zeena and I will only be eating foods that are naturally occurring, so if mother nature didn’t make it, we wont eat it. We will be cooking our food however (chicken, fish, etc). I must say I am excited for this week because I feel that in doing this, we will be forced to explore different foods, meal options, and
This is a warm up or trial run so-to-speak, so we can get a handle on (1) How we feel mentally & physically, (2) What we like about it, (3) What we found difficult and (4) Any advice we can offer to those looking to try a similar lifestyle.
We will both have sample meals for you all, and take copious notes along the way to provide you with the most detail possible!
