Fall-Weather Fashion!

It feels like September as snuck up right behind us and with that so has the cooler weather. The weather here in New England is in this awkward stage of being crazy cool or nicely warm with each passing day. This makes it a bit harder to dress appropriately. Not to fear! With this year’s fashion trend of black and white in mind, I have created or picked 4 simple outfits that can be easily dressed warmer or cooler.

1.

This striped dress is very unique. You can wear it by itself on a warm night or pair it with black panty hose, black heels, and a mustard sweater to dress warmer. I really liked this dress because it can be worn by itself outside, in the office, and to a day or nighttime function.

A quarter sleeve dresses I actually love because they seem to be appropriate for warm or cold weather. For this outfit, I made it a bit warm by adding some leggings to be worn under this flirty cool dress.

This outfit can be more of a night look or shopping during the day. The shirt was a bit thicker in material so it would work great in cooler temps, but the non-clinging shape and white color would also make this a nice shirt to wear when warm. I paired the top with partial faux leather leggings, which I think may be a little more suiting to colder temps.

When night time hits, its great to have an outfit that can be worn if the day starts out a little bit hotter and then cools down significantly at night. The striped top had thick enough material that it could help keep you warm if it gets cold. I absolutely loved the touch of faux leather as the shoulder strap. I paired the shirt with classic black slacks that aren’t too thick made for an easy weather transitional outfit.
