Favorite Ingredient Friday: Watercress Smoothie
It’s 7 am. You’re groggy and can barely keep your eyes open! Before you reach for that first coffee of the day, reach for your watercress instead!
Yes, I know: there is a HUGE difference between watercress and coffee but why not energize your body and

Now that you’re caught up on all that watercress goodness, you’re ready to try a watercress smoothie, right? Trust me, this will become your breakfast staple!
- 2 cups coconut water
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 cup watercress
- 3/4 cup kale
- 3/4 cup raspberries
- 1/4 cup strawberries
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 2 tbsp crushed flaxseeds
Blend all of the ingredients together. Feel free to add as much watercress as you’d like! The more the merrier (or healthier!). Pour and enjoy!
