Favorite Ingredient Friday: Kale Chips!

Kale chips are such a healthy and easy snack to make! It requires such few ingredients and tastes absolutely delicious!

How to make Kale Chips:

Pre-heat oven to 375°. Prep kale by washing in cool water. Shake to remove any excess water.

Chop kale into small pieces, about the size of a regular potato chip. Add kale pieces to a bowl. Toss in 1 TBSP of olive oil. Mix in a few shakes of sea salt and crushed black pepper.

Spread kale onto a cookie sheet. I added a layer of parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Bake kale at 375° for about 10 or so minutes. Depending on how crispy you like it you can bake it for less time.

    Surprisingly very tasty :)! (And in comparison, I tried some kale chips that I bought in a market that had cheese added, and… it tasted gross, and was expensive.)

      Hi Audrey! Thank you for the compliment! We had the same experience with supermarket kale chips. They were not good at all–which was very surprising because they were one of those “all natural” brands! Making them at home is definitely cheaper and tastier. Cheese sounds like it would taste fantastic with homemade kale chips! Thanks for the comment!
